This 2004 Dodge Ram has a 5.7 liter Hemi that runs perfect. The entire truck leaks zero fluid. The motor burns no oil what so ever. The truck is almost completely stock except for the Magna Flow cat back exhaust and a K&N 100,000 Mile Free flow air filter. Everything else is just like it left the factory, unless the aftermarket cup holder counts.
It has no issues except, about a month ago I backed into the neighbors Honda and banged up the lower rear driver rocker panel.( see photo) I am going to get it fixed so the truck looks perfect, unless you like dents in your truck.
This truck has almost 114 thousand miles on it but you would never know. It starts right up, runs smooth and has a tom of power (I mentioned it was a Hemi right?) the Hemi gets about 17 or 18 miles a gallon on the highway with the cruise control on. The Hemi shuts down 4 of the 8 cylinders at highway speeds when using the cruise control. Around town it gets more like 12.5 to 14 MPG. Depending on your driving it’s not that bad of mileage. I get an average of about 15 or 16 MPG with Union 76 89 octane fuel.
The air conditioner runs cold, very cold. Hot days like today aren’t an issue. The engine temperature and oil pressure gauges register well and are consistent. The interior has the cloth seats but they are in very good shape and show almost no ware at all. No rips, tears or cigarette burns. The rear seat is large, two adults can ride back there all day without issue. It has the factory single disk CD player. That’s it no GPS, DVD or Play station. Just AM FM CD player with the factory sound. It got a new windshield about 5 K miles ago. Power windows and door locks and the factory alarm with 2 remotes.
The truck has almost new tires and they have about 5,000 miles on them and run smooth. Aside from the bang I just did in the back the truck runs and looks like it is almost new. It has the factory frame mounted hitch receiver. I have never pulled a trailer with it, but I am sure it will pull just about everything without breaking a sweat. The truck has balls, It moves, quick and strong.
I like the truck a lot, but times are tough and I have to turn it into some cash. My loss could be your gain. Take the truck for a drive and you will want to drive it home and keep it. The Kelly Blue Book link to the truck is here.
Kelly Blue Book on it is somewhere between 11,500 and 10,500. I am asking 10,400 but that really means I will take 9,900 for the truck and she is all yours.
Look at the pictures, send me an email Joe.Dallacqua@Gmail.com and I can send you additional pictures, if you like it we can meet and you can take it for a spin. It’s a great truck and a value at this price.
Like I said, my loss is your gain.
